Hi, I’m Patrick Hilton,

I’m Running for District 3 City Council

Now is a critical time for our city. As a passionate Portlander with a background in urbanism, architecture, ecology, and the arts, I’m here to bring fresh, visionary ideas to our city.

I believe it’s crucial to think long-term and to understand and address the root causes of our challenges with truth and curiosity.

By embracing holistic, human-centered, and innovative solutions, we can not only improve our city but also set an example for other cities as we face 21st-century issues.

Why I’m Running

Portland is at a critical moment. I’m running for City Council to bring a long-term, human-centered approach to the challenges facing our city.

My background in urbanism, architecture, ecology, small business, and the arts shapes how I see Portland—and how I believe we can protect what makes this city special while continuing to innovate.

I WILL ADVOCATE
FOR POLICIES THAT…

Affordable Housing

Create new paths to affordable homeownership and expand housing options for working Portlanders.

Local Business First

Support locally owned businesses and keep more of Portland’s money, jobs, and opportunity in our neighborhoods.

A Portland Worth Protecting

Portland’s strength comes from its neighborhoods, local businesses, public spaces, arts, and the people who give each part of the city its identity.

I want Portland to grow and evolve without losing the qualities that made people fall in love with it in the first place.

Protect Portland’s Character

Protect the neighborhoods, local culture, trees, historic places, and human-scale character that make Portland distinctive.
